Kaza => Losar (60km)

Due to the shops being closed yesteday Dad and I hang around this morning waiting for things to open so that we can buy some supplies.

As we head through the ouskirts of town I get a flat tyre - the first of the trip.This is also an opportunity to use my spare tyre as my exising one is falling apart around the rim, and at
present has 5 sleeves holding it together.

We finally get away by 10:30 - far too late, and just as the day is starting to heat up.
It's reletively easy going along the side of the valley until we're 10 km short of Losar. A 25kt head wind springs up making progress vey slow.

I've started having problems with my eyes in the last few days - similar to conjunctivitis. At one point I can't even see the road so have to stop to give them a rest.

The valley (when I can see it) is opening up, and Losar appears in the distance as a green oasis.

I arrive at the Losar gust house with abou two hours of daylight left.The shower (bucket of water) is in a converted glass (plastic) house. Clever.. the heat in the glass house
heats a large black water tank, with which you then use a bucket to pour over yourself.
This "shower room" also doubles as someone's bedroom.

I have "Mutton Curry Soup" & rice for dinner. Very nice to have something other than chicken for a change.

As we head forther and further north the beds have been getting harder and harder. Both Dad and I have started using our thermorest matresses on top of the beds to make them usable.
